Let Localities Speak is part of a plan to create series of talk on heritage we see around us. Every street of Kolkata has a history. However much of the history remind unknown.
On 20th Nov 2019, Dr Sukanya Mitra, Assistant Professor, Department of History , Loreto College shared about Beadon Street. Mr. Akhil Ranjan Sarkar, heritage conservation architect who has been engaged in conservation initiatives since 90s spoke on Park Street. The event was held in collaboration with Alliance française du Bengale.
The audience of around 50 people enjoyed knowing unknown anecdotes of these two popular and important roads of the city.
