World Heritage Day Celebrations by North Zone YP members in collaboration with Sushant School of Art & Architecture. This International Day for Monuments and Sites offered the opportunity for ICOMOS India North Zone to raise awareness about Heritage in general and specifically about the 100 day challenge undertaken by SSAA to save Kaman Sarai in Gur-gaon.
The memorable day was celebrated with a series of events like the Nukkad Natak, Poetry re-citation and brain storming session on the relevance and importance of ‘Rural Landscapes/ Rural Heritage” embedded within our Urbanscapes. It created a connect with concerned citi-zens, stimulated the young adolescent minds towards ‘Conservation Consciousness” and propagated intellectual discussions within young professionals - a satisfying exercise for sure.
